We were in a very bad situation as we spent the first night in Rome ou on the street, on a flight of stairs, as our previous apartment managers gave us wrong codes and we had no place to go! After hours on the phone with booking, we called Borgo Ripa about a relocation and we were kindly answered by Lorenzo and he was amazing!!! We were greeted with a big smile, he was so kind, helped us out, gave us an amazing room and let us get in right away! It really changed the game for us as we were so tired, mad and sad and it was a breathe of fresh air for us! The place is like a small villa in the middle of Rome, close to the center, nothing fancy but very stilish, super cozy and with and amazing river view! We really loved our stay and I would recommend to anyone that wants to have a cozy and comfortable experience! Thanks again to Lorenzo - you are the best 🙏

It's in a great location near historical sights, and the hostel is in a repurposed building from the 1600s, the flooring still from that era. Once you go through the gate, you have a view of a beautiful garden. You will turn to your right and go on a path with large flower pots (see image). The place was very clean and tidy, including the bathrooms. I had initially reserved a 6-bed room, but they kindly and voluntarily upgraded me to a 3-bed room (possibly because it wasn't that busy). They had lockers in the rooms, generous size, enough to fit a carry-on luggage and a backpack, but make sure to bring your own lock. The staff I interacted with was very nice and friendly. I only stayed for one night, but I would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend this place for those who want to visit Rome and be close to the main or center areas. This is walking distance from the Vatican City and of course the Trastevere area (which is full of life during the day and especially during the night and beautiful churches for hearing Mass and prayer) and the river outside of this vicinity makes the stay more lovely. The staff is really nice as well, there were two of them during my stay. And they are accommodating to guests as well. I like the lobby as well where you can sit and relax. And the free water provided in the lobby. I like that there's storage room for luggages and bags that can be used for free.

The hostel's location is just perfect - it really lets you fully experience Rome, as lots of attractions are within walking distance. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the personnel is friendly :) In spite of inconveniences I'm mentioning here, I still think it's a great hostel to stay in, especially during low season (I stayed there in January). I have to admit that during my stay the awkward bathroom "situation" didn't bother me much, as I was berely crossing anyone in there. Although, I'm not sure I would choose this hostel during the high season, as a female solo traveler.

This is a new hostel, so don’t be concerned about the lack of reviews! Modern and clean bathroom Very good aircon in our room Lovely neighbourhood. Trastevere, cute shops, restaurants and lanes all in walking distance. Short bus or walk over the bridge to the main attractions. Had a simple but nice breakfast both mornings, and enjoyed sitting in the main area.
